Practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing projects

Online databases are very useful for research especially when the research is on engineering. Through the Writing for Engineers course I am now better equipped to locate viable sources for my written assignments regardless of the subject. While I have beenĀ  acquainted with databases like Jstor and CUNY Onesearch, I have learned how to better filter the results I get when I use those sites and I have also learned about Google Scholar from my classmates and the myriad of uses it has when concerning STEM research.

In Figure 1, it shows the list of my references from my lab report. Originally I thought formatting my references would be fairly and it was as the APA guidelines were fairly clear. However, I made the repeated mistake of not ordering them in alpha order; which I was able to fix in this iteration.
